Mary is a degreed interior designer receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from School of Associated Arts (now the College of Visual Arts) in St. Paul. With her many years of experience, she understands how families and individuals use homes, what works and what doesn't. Partnering with Mark, she participates in the initial design meetings. Once the master design plan is finalized, she accompanies clients on buying trips to help guide them in selecting all interior and exterior appointments including carpet, tile and stone, paint, plumbing fixtures and lighting.
Her goal is to make the selection process fun by first finding out the goals of the client and then by narrowing the field of choices. While it's Mary's role to provide choices and coordinate selections, her ultimate role is to make sure that the clients are comfortable with their selections. Clients appreciate that this process saves them time and money.
The end result is a room, rooms or a home that looks "intentional". Comments from clients include: "Awesome!" "Stunning!" "Wow!"
For homeowners who are planning either a lower level or a kitchen remodel, mackmiller design+build is hosting two free remodeling seminars in Eden Prairie. They will be fun, interactive and informative - not a sales pitch. Topics covered will include "Tips and Trends" and there will be plenty of time for questions.
