"We are thrilled to be accepted into the Pepsi Refresh Challenge. The funding will allow us to jump start the sewing co-op and bring Minnesota’s fashion scene to the next level. We can’t do this alone and need the support from the community to vote every day," said Annette Hanley, MNfashion Board Member and Development Lead.
MNfashion’s mission - promote clothing designers and create jobs by creating a sewing cooperative. MNfashion piloted a small sewing cooperative program by connecting Voltage: Fashion Amplified 2010 designers with sewing support. Because this was a huge success, MNfashion is currently building on the concept and is working to bring it into their studio, full time.
