Prop: Janet Palmer

Janet Palmer was recently named Executive Director for People Reaching Out to People (PROP). She's been with the organization since 2008 after a career change from the private sector. "At that time, I decided that I wanted a change and do something that felt more meaningful to me and closer to my community," she recalled. PROP is a local food shelf and emergency service organization that serves Eden Prairie and Chanhassen. "I'm excited and honored to be taking over this role," she said.

Terri Bonoff Challenges Erik Paulsen

Update: Terri Bonoff, a Minnesota Representative in the 3rd District since 2005, lost to Erik Paulsen (R) who has served in Congress since 2009. The third district is considered moderate, purple, voted for Obama in 08 and 2012 and for Hillary Clinton in 2016. Paulsen's non-stop attack ads against Bonoff were often factually incorrect and misleading according to Minnepost and local area media.
